Handcrafted like the old folks would have done it, with a lighting up the staircase. The pics were a little tricky to take, had to play around with settings to get the glass itself right. I'm open for any photography-tips😅

Made from clear and red fused together at precisely 804°C, then painted with which get fired at 666°C (recommended 660°C but where is the fun in that, right?)

Throwback time to 2019!
♦️Not my design nor my painting!♦️
Had the chance to get involved in a project at The Cathedral Studios in Canterbury for a Church in Dallas, Texas. Got to lead up some beautifully painted new glass. Here i'm cleaning up after puttying (or cementing, how we called it). Even though i'm not religious, it was a very special project to me (like the time i've spend in Canterbury in general), where i was able to follow every step in the creation of such a beatiful stained glass window.

Feathers have been used for centuries by glasspainters because the shaft has a perfect stiffness (yes, that was on purpose) for cleaning up paint lines or adding some detail to layers.

love this messy background🖤 What do you think?🤔
It's created by adding a thin layer of paint, dabed off with paper towel. Once dried it gets sprinkled a little with water through a spary bottle and left to dry once again. After a few minutes i'll go over it again with a soft brush, the paint where the droplets landed are easier to remove then the rest of the paint, creating this gorgeous dirty looking pattern🖤
