We are so excited to announce our first VIRTUAL ANOOM will be taking place next Friday 29th of May on YouTube Live!!

The week before lockdown began, we were getting ready for our second edition in light of International Women’s Day, we had an incredible line up organised but sadly, of course, we had to cancel. But now, we’re jumping on the virtual bandwagon and are bringing you these fantastic acts from the comfort of your own home!

Our acts will be giving exclusive performances and there will ALSO be a link provided for you to donate to the acts of your choice as part of the covid-support scheme.

Meet MAVICA // Mavica •

Originally from Cartagena (Spain), MAVICA now resides in London where she’s finally found the place and environment to materialise her debut EP. ‘Gone’ (2019) is a collection of songs full of elegant folk pop that landed her a spot at festivals like Mad Cool and Vida Festival, as well as supporting artists such as Roo Panes, Blanco White, Alice Phoebe Lou and Jonathan Wilson. Drawing comparisons with Ex Re, Phoebe Bridgers and Bon Iver, she has been recognised by critics as an artist to watch.

With already a million streams on her first single on Spotify, MAVICA is really starting to make a name for herself in London and is certainly not one to miss this Friday at ANOOM.

Meet Alex White //

An upcoming artist from the Greater London area. He combines his love of contemporary music, blues and country to create something slightly different than your modern day singer/songwriter. Musically and vocally he creates a modern twist of classic blues and heart wrenching poetic honesty, pulling in influences from the greats such as: JJ Cale, John Mayer, Prince and James Taylor.

Alex will be our second act this Friday, so make sure you’re down in time to hear what he has in store for us.

Meet Rossana // rossanasmusic •

A Portuguese singer/songwriter now based in London. Rossana music is heavily influenced by years of classical education and more recently her study of jazz. She describes her music as nostalgic and lyric-focused and believe me her vocals are beyond captivating. With two singles out already, be sure to check Rossana out before she hits the stage this Friday. She’s our opening act, so make sure you get down early to catch her set.
