What a lovely thing to read in the North West End review of Little Shop of Horrors at Hope Mill Theatre!

I’ve always believed that as a casting director, I’m only as good as my cast, and this wonderful company has made me incredibly proud. Every single performer brings something special to the production, and seeing their talent and hard work recognised is the greatest reward.

Huge praise must go to our brilliant director Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, whose vision, creativity and leadership have brought this production to life so beautifully, alongside an exceptional creative team who have poured so much into the show.

And a massive thank you to our fantastic producers, Thomas Hopkins Productions and SAMS Entertainment, for trusting us to bring this iconic musical to the stage.

It really does take a village, and what a talented village this is!

So proud to have been part of it. ❤️🌱

Coming soon to Stratford!

The cast is announced for Robin Hood and the Merry Mandem at Stratford East, and I’m so proud to have cast this brilliant company!

Ashley Joseph leads as Robin, joined by Toyin Ayedun-Alase, Eshan Gopal, Daniel Jacob, Nickcolia King-N’da, Kandaka Moore and Helen K Wint. It’s a joy to see them all announced.

Written by Yolanda Mercy and directed by Jade Lewis, this is Robin Hood with a proper East London spirit. I can’t wait to see what everyone brings to the stage.

21 November 2026 to 2 January 2027 at Stratford East. Come and join the Merry Mandem! 🏹

So glad to finally see that FING! is heading to cinemas soon!

I had such a brilliant time casting this feature and working alongside the wonderful teams at King Bert Productions and Story Bridge Films, with producers Jo Sargent and Todd Fellman, and our fantastic director Jeffrey Walker.

The film has an incredible cast including Taika Waititi, Mia Wasikowska, Penelope Wilton, Blake Harrison, Richard Roxburgh, Robyn Nevin and Matt Lucas, alongside our brilliant newcomer Iona Bell at the heart of the film.

Finding and casting Iona as Myrtle was a particularly special part of this one. There is nothing I love more than discovering a new young actor and giving them the opportunity to lead a major feature alongside such an extraordinary cast.

I’m so excited that audiences will soon get to see it on the big screen. FING! arrives in cinemas January 15, 2027.

Very proud to have been a part of this one. ❤️

I’m incredibly proud that the new season of Play for Today begins this Friday, 25 September on 5, with WILD. (British Comedy Guide)

Starring the brilliant Daniel Mays, Joel Fry and Amit Shah, Wild is written by Lewis Wren, directed by BRICK and produced by Meeshan Saxena for Vertigo Films. (British Comedy Guide)

And that’s just the beginning.

Next comes THE VILLAGE IDIOT, starring Phyllis Logan, Max Harwood, Kathryn Drysdale, Kacey Ainsworth and Angus Imrie, written by Samson Hawkins, directed by Rhys Aaron Lewis and produced by Meeshan Saxena for Vertigo Films. (British Comedy Guide)

Followed by THE QUIET HOUR, starring the incredible Archie Panjabi and Paul Kaye, written by Sarah Louise Madden, directed by Margo Roe and again produced by Meeshan Saxena for Vertigo Films. (Paramount Mediahub)

As a working-class casting director, projects like these feel particularly special to me. Being given the opportunity to help assemble casts of this calibre, bringing together extraordinary established actors alongside exciting talent, is exactly why I do this job.

I’m incredibly grateful to the directors, producers and everyone at Vertigo Films and 5 for trusting me to be part of these films.

There’s something really exciting about Play for Today: individual stories, different voices, brilliant writers and directors, and the opportunity to tell stories that reflect different corners of modern Britain.

I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve made.

It all starts with WILD, this Friday 25 September at 9pm on 5. (British Comedy Guide)

🎭 YOUTH & TEEN MUSICALS ON SCREEN IS BACK! 🎬

And this time, we’re taking on HAMILTON THE MUSICAL!

Following our previous Musicals on Screen workshops, we’re back this October with an intensive two-day musical theatre performance-for-camera workshop, created specifically for Youth & Teen performers aged 9–18.

📅 26th & 27th October 2026
⏰ 10am – 5pm
📍 London Studios
🎭 Ages 9–18
💷 £200 for both days

Across two jam-packed days, our young performers will dive into the extraordinary world of Hamilton, exploring acting, music, movement, storytelling and performance for camera.

The workshop will be led by Emmy-nominated Casting Director Rob Kelly, alongside Casting Assistant Jessie Hills, with top West End Musical Directors and cast members from Hamilton joining us across the two days.

This isn’t simply about learning songs and choreography. We want our performers to understand how to take material from a major West End musical and make it work ON CAMERA.

We’ll explore character, intention, acting through song, vocal performance, movement, storytelling and connection to the material, as well as how to retain the energy and excitement of musical theatre while making choices that feel truthful and detailed on screen.

Performers will work intensively in a professional and supportive environment, developing material across the two days before taking it in front of the camera.

Rob’s recent casting credits include Hadestown, Little Shop of Horrors, The Jonathan Larson Project, Geek Girl, Curfew and Malory Towers.

We’re looking for young actors, singers and musical theatre performers aged 9–18 who want to challenge themselves, build their confidence and develop their screen performance skills.

🚨 PLACES ARE STRICTLY LIMITED

We deliberately keep numbers limited so every performer has the opportunity to work, perform, receive direction and get in front of the camera.

Early applications are strongly encouraged.
