With her club night, coming to Isle of Wight Festival for the first time, expect to be raving to the best Island DJs amongst the backdrop of a carefully crafted cosmic jungle. G has been DJing festivals and intimate clubs for over a decade and can be found at 3 rivers festival, Camp Bestival & Wytwoods this year. G loves a dirty baseline which often permeate her high energy underground house sets, where she blends tech house with infectiously funky disco, and mash ups of nostalgic beats & club classics.

So the news is out!!!!! I cannot tell you how amazing it feels to be curating the lineup for Thursday night of at festival this year!!

To be involved in such an iconic festival on home turf is an absolute dream come true. 🥹

I wanted to bring a full line up of IOW talent, DJs who I’ve admired over the years as well as up and coming talent who are ones to watch. We have so much talent on the island, it was really hard narrowing down my choices so I want to shout out all our incredible IOW DJs.🙌🏽 On this lineup you’ve got DJs who have decades of experience behind the decks in clubs all around the UK and abroad, DJs who have grown their own hugely successful club brand and rising stars who are fresh in the scene. I am immensely proud of and thankful to my DJs for stepping up and I am ever so grateful to Dave for the opportunity.

My club brand is all about creating a full experience at an event. Steelers wheel is going to be transformed into a cosmic wonderland for the night with props and decor carefully crafted by local hands (mostly me, my partner and some willing friends I’ve roped in) to add to your festival feels.

We are so ready to kickstart your festival weekend with one hell of a party! Can’t wait to see you on the dancefloor!! Let’s goooooo! 🪩🌵🍄☮️🤩🕺🏻💃🌙

CAMP BESTIVAL!!!! 2026 is gonna be incredible! Let’s gooooo!

I’m so chuffed to be DJing here again this year. It’s such an incredible family friendly festival. So much to see and do! Top notch artists & DJs, delicious food, slomo saunas & therapies, crafty workshops & quirky, magical madness round every corner.

🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩AAAAAANNIEEEEEE MAAAAC!!!!!

Happy new year!!! I’m taking the time to reflect on my highlights of 2025. This was definitely up there!

Not gonna lie, I actually shed a tear after meeting Annie! 😭😭 she was lovely and warm and real and had a lovely energy about her.

When I heard was going to be DJing at camp bestival last summerI was determined to meet her. 😅

Annie is the reason I became a DJ…. I didn’t think I liked house music until I heard Annie’s show on Radio 1. Growing up I listened to RnB, hip hop and alt moody artists like bjork, Radiohead, massive attack, lamb, & goldfrapp. I thought I didn’t like house music.

But when I heard Annie’s radio 1 show in the early 2000’s I became hooked! She blended genres and played really exciting and uplifting music that always made me want to dance. Her mashups and mini mixes from guest DJs really inspired me. My best mate Rach and I used to go to her Annie Mac presents nights in venues like KOKO in Camden and would always be there for her sets at bestival.

I’d always wanted to have a career in music so around 2011 I took the leap and enrolled in a DJing course in Thornton heath whilst working part time in London. Soon after we moved back to the IOW and I entered s competition for IOW DJs to play at Bestival (when it was still on the island) I got through to the Live finals which were at . At the time I was using serato scratch and control vinyls on my technics 1210’s. I came 2nd that night so I didn’t get to play at bestival sad times… 😭 but it was still an amazing start for me. And fast forward 12 years or so in a full circle moment, Robby made my dreams come true by booking me to DJ at Camp Bestival and allowing me to meet my idol! And my best mate Rach was with me too (which was a special treat coz she lives in Thailand now)

You can also see Jamie in these photos…. also has a special place for Annie on his journey into music. So it was so cool for her to take the time to have photos with us.

And I had to choose Mele’s version of Pasilda for the soundtrack coz it always reminds me of Annie. 🥳
