This weekend welcomes the Year of the Horse. May it run freely and create a new dawning of rights, dignity and freedoms for all. 马年 (mǎ nián).

I live in an area of London with a strong Vietnamese community who come together in huge numbers and celebrate in our public spaces. It’s wonderful to see these community ties run deep, despite living on the other side of the world.

Salem (the all black cat) is snooty but secretly likes affection, whiskers, our tuxedo cat, is practically a rag doll - daft and loveable♥️. But at night I imagine they party 🪩the night away...⁠
