Introducing e5n music services, a new company which came together through paths criss-crossings over many years by the Proprietors Chris Cousins and Amanda Austin. In later years he hit on the idea of promoting a show locally by 60s artiste Leapy Lee. It all went horribly wrong when heavy snow threatened to ruin the event, but his wife Alison conjured up a makeshift raffle and saved the day. She d
id tell him never to get involved in events again. Mandy had worked at various music booking agencies and eventually set up her own company with another friend and two members of Mott the Hoople on the production side of the company. Although successful as a business, the complex where their office was based changed hands and things came to an end. She became the manager of The Time Dance. Moving forward in time Mandy's brother Rob became a staunch supporter of all things music in the Barnet area where he lived and set up a cd/dvd duplicating business which led to promoting local acts in the area. After her brother passed away in 2014, Chris and Mandy's paths crossed again when they found they were mixing in the same social circles, with Chris becoming more actively involved in the local music scene. In late 2021 they talked about setting up a music services company, the name being derived from their links to Barnet, primarily as booking agents, but also with self promoted events in mind. They are in talks with a local rehearsal studio, a major new radio station, and a music networking group to set up working partnerships and endorsements. They will also use the talents of musician and artist friends in the promotion of the company starting with their logo designed by Spizz Energi. They are looking forward to working with venues near and far with performers of all genres from now onwards.
