Lordddd I haven't sat and painted in so long I'm forgetting how 😅

Anyway I stated a small image study today for a uni exhibition.. I decided after asking which person to paint, that I will paint them all and then decided which one I like best for the exhibition.

Woooooow. Now that the final design for the mural has been sent, I'm just so amazed at everything that's been happening over the last 2 months!!

From the initial sketch that I was so nervous to send 😬😅 to the exhibition outside where my art was seen and voted for by the very community that inspires it 🥹❤️

I've been granted access to the archives. Where thousand of images and articles are held. Allowing me to step back in time and re-live music events.

Jumping back into the present and witnessing the indescribable in in Peckham was something I will never forget. I suggest anyone that enjoys life visit them promptly 👏 🙌

To co-creating and co-hosting my very first workshop with , where I was inspired, not only by their developing artistic skills but their developing minds. Young people see things totally different and if you want to make a difference, include them!!!

None of this would have been possible without the powerhouse that is .getitdone, they have not stopped working to allow this huge creative project to come to life!! Thank you so much for everything.

7 years ago today i finished my first painting.

I had just 'beaten' cancer for the first time and something made me go to the art shop and buy the biggest canvas they had.

Muma was born, she lived above my bed for a while, keeping me safe.

7 years of painting for therapy

7 years before people started noticing
