In potentially my biggest waste of time yet, I am celebrating gaining some new followers by alienating 99.9% of my followers with this homage to my all time favourite daytime TV show, the magnificent Bargain Hunt. This absolute pearl of a production has done more for the elderly, self employed and student population than Stannah Stairlifts, a stable internet connection and Pot Noodles combined.
Here we see presenter Danny Sebastian’s astounding ability to say exactly the same thing, week upon week, with all the enthusiasm of a man who’s been told his family will be in danger if his energy dips below a fever pitch threshold.
The jazzy daytime TV style background music I composed accidentally channels Chicken Payback by the excellent (sorry lads) - and I spent literally days editing this together while my monthly mortgage repayment bounced and I missed a deadline for some actual work. THAT is how much I wanted to honour this absolute juggernaut of a show.
And with that, I bid farewell to those new followers who, quite literally, did not sign up for this
