Spotlighting the homegrown talent shaping the future of UK jazz. 💚
Championing emerging artists has always been at the heart of Brick Lane Jazz Festival. The majority of our lineup is dedicated to artists pushing things forward from the underground - the names we think you need to hear before they blow up.
Our 2027 lineup is no different. Here are just a few of the artists we’re excited to put in the spotlight this year:
💚 Allexa Nava:
A fast-rising saxophonist coming through Tomorrow's Warriors, Allexa Nava is forging a distinctive sound that brings together her Peruvian heritage with the energy and experimentation of the UK jazz scene.
💚 MURPHY
Singer, songwriter and guitarist MURPHY brings soulful songwriting and an intimate, groove-led sound.
💚 The Five Points Project
More than a jam night, FP is a community built around music, connection and a mission to tackle loneliness in London. They’ll be back at the festival this year, bringing some serious talent from across the scene for another massive community jam.
💚 Kotoa
The SE London 5-piece are carving out their own space with a fusion of heavy basslines, soulful melodies and political lyricism. One of the most exciting young bands emerging from the capital’s underground.
