The Artsadmin Canteen is reopening! 🍰🥗🍸

From Monday 22 May, Artsadmin's new independent café operator Genco will be running the space

Genco is the brainchild of Phoebe Hunt and Ata Çin, a British/ Turkish couple who are moving back to the UK after living and working in Florence. The name Genco is inspired by the Turkish word for ‘young’ - capturing the youth, excitement and freshness of their new offering. Its ethos is one of sustainability, hospitality and generosity, with strong influences from Italian and Turkish café culture

Their Mediterranean inspired menu will change daily and seasonally, focused on hearty salads, hot meals, freshly baked focaccia and homemade treats. In due course, Genco plans to expand into weekday breakfast and supper clubs, weekend brunch, external catering, community workshops, and some evening aperitivo bar trade

We're looking for a café operator to make the Artsadmin Canteen at Toynbee Studios their home. It’s a fantastic opportunity to be part of a lively creative hub in the heart of east London and play an important role in hosting and growing our unique communities.

The Arts Bar and Café offers a tranquil but vibrant and cultural setting on the edge of the City and east London for eating, drinking, meetings, socialising, networking and showcasing artists and art. Pop by next time you're in the area or visiting the studios!

Our café is open Monday–Friday, 9.30am-5.30pm (except bank holidays). The bar is open later for evening events and until 8pm every Friday.
