im not weak im just sad is the most vulnerable song I've ever written. It's a song about being assaulted earlier this year.

I wrote this song as a reminder to myself that I was more than my pain. Instead, I am a testament to my human spirit, that cannot and will not be broken. I sang this song to myself again and again until I felt better.

I'm learning that there's power in vulnerability, breaking silence, and telling my story how I wish it to be told. And so I'm taking my power back and sharing this with you. I hope this song can help someone else how it helped me!
