A glimpse into Air — the 3rd movement of my Pyrydro String Quartet.
This elemental suite has been an exploration of texture, breath, and motion — and this moment captures that sense of lift and suspension.
What a joy the recording was with the incredible .quartet, brought to life at where Giles is now shaping the final master for an April release.

PYRYDRO – 3rd Movement: AIR

From the Pyrydro String Quartet Elemental Suite by Michael Bryant.

A magickal elemental meditation on Air — breath, suspension and unseen force — where shifting textures and lyrical lines move between stillness and ignition.

Rehearsal with Quartet at the Royal College of Music, London.

What is ‘Pyrydro’? (πυρδύρο)
Is it Earth?
Is it SYLVA- as in the woods in nature?
To be revealed..
