Following on from the whale shark that I sold in the past month, I wanted to make another one! I thought to go a little less ‘natural’ with this one, but I think the yellows and pinks really go well together, and the eyes kind of remind me of white chocolate.

There are so many different ways to hold and handle the snake! With how this has been designed, it can curl into loads of different positions, and the cuddle fleece makes it super soft to hold♥️

The little fungi friends keep on coming, and this time, we have a Chanterelle inspired fungi friend! I love the water droplet rolling off the top, and the mushroom accents on the sides of the fungi. I’m in love with their little derpy faces🥰

I am an autumnal bean, it is my favourite colour palette and the best time for a forage! Mushrooms and pumpkins are also the poster-children of the fall season, so combining them together makes a Mush-kin, the mushroom pumpkin sprite.

I got to make another marine mammal plushie, and this time, it’s the beloved walrus (I love them anyway). That cute chubby seal body with the additional fluff and tusks? Whilst some people believe Charizard to be a tad overrated, you cannot deny how wonderful the Shiny is! The dark colours and deep red is just such a wonderful colour combination. This one is actually available on my website and Etsy store now!

I really enjoy making creatures of the forest, and I can’t see any better decor for a cottage core bean, than this mushroom potion bottle! The mushroom top is even removable, it’s just so cute! I’ve been extremely excited to show this one off, but I will also start making some more marine plushies soon, I just have a few clothing things to make before then🥰

Ok to say that I have been relatively obsessed with crocheting little forest creatures, would be an understatement. I got a bunch of new crochet patterns for mushrooms, and I’ve been spending hours and hours on them. It’s an extremely relaxing and rewarding pastime.
This one in particular is a parrot waxcap fungi buddy, and the colours go so well together. Nature really does have the best colour palettes!

I have just added this beautiful soft Manatee to my Etsy store and website! I don’t actually know what kind of fabric the main body is, I just know that I felt it and knew that it was going to be super suitable for my manatee plush. It also has algae on its back, appliquéd using minky fabric and it’s just so adorable, I’m in love.

Here’s a little seahorse that I made for my mum! She’s a big fan of seahorses, so when I saw this pattern, it’s definitely something I wanted her to have. I’ve been home for a few days, so whilst I couldn’t do much sewing, I did manage to get the crochet stuff out, so keep an eye out for that☺️

I do really enjoy doing some digital doodles, I find it very relaxing and a nice way to pass the time if I can’t be at my sewing machine. This is another one that I made with the help of Phoebe Im’s drawing book, and I managed to adapt it a little to make my first DND character, Russell the Satyr Druid. I’m obsessed with him, and I decided to do two different backgrounds - I love the orange but I think the blue makes the character pop a bit more.

When said that they wanted some pattern testers for their first ever pattern (!) I was super excited to reach out and get my little hands on this Wooper pattern! I had a lot of fun making it, and the artist was so happy to receive constructive critique on their pattern, which is so wonderful of them, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

As this is a pattern test, it will not be for sale, which makes my boyfriend very happy because he claimed this Paldean Wooper before I even started it.

I have another new plush that has just been added to my Etsy shop and website! I was waiting for the marine animal bundle of patterns from Sew Desu Ne since they gave the first word of it on their Patreon, and I’m sooo excited to make more! First, I have this whale shark that I made with standard fleece and cuddle fleece for the top, so it’s super fluffy! Plus, the poly pellet pouch is quite large, so this shark is actually super weighted, and it’s gorgeous. Find this guy for sale following the link!

I got a new drawing book by Phoebe Im and it’s been great to get some assistance on proportion and line work. I got to be entirely creative with the shading, colour and setting. It was truly relaxing☺️

I have been on an absolute roll creating these few plushies in the past week! Today I have just put up a rattle snake, or danger noodle, if you will. My favourite aspect about this snake is that it can coil in multiple different ways, as shown in these photos, there are so many possibilities! The past few weeks within my business had been made up of patterning my next plush that I can sell the pattern for! I have finally finished the body for this Appleton, and it was a more difficult project than I was anticipating, but I’m very happy with where the body is now! I’m taking a step away to work on something else, and then I will come back to this and pattern the head. Then it will be writing everything up so that I can sell it on my Etsy shop!

I currently have a Phantump digital pattern on Etsy in case anyone wants to get a pattern that I’ve already made!

I’m so beyond happy to say that my fluffy Owlbear has been SOLD and is on its way to Mexico right now! I created this super fluffy, snowy Owlbear plush! It’s created from a new fabric that I got, which is a cuddle fleece, and it’s just so gorgeous. The plush is actually weighted in the body, paws and feet, and so it’s super floppy, as you can see! I finished it today and made this little reel to show part of the process. Here is a 7 hours plush condensed into a minute and a half! The purpose of this vid is to show how much labour of love goes into making each individual piece that I make. These are not mass produced, they are put together piece by piece. I want people to know that this is why artists need to charge outside the “normal” amount for our products, because we can’t fit into the society built on capitalism if we are going to make any profit.
