It matters not what people are born, but what they grow to be.
Trans women will always be women.
Trans men will always be men.
Today, the UK’s Supreme Court ruled that the legal definition of woman does not include trans women; an action that will cause considerable harm to all trans people in the UK in the future and remove their legal protection.
This decision has been welcomed by the current Labour government, emphasising just how far backwards this once self-proclaimed ‘progressive’ government has fallen, as it chooses instead to align itself with bigoted, billionaire authors and far-right populists.
We wish to send so much love to every trans person today.
The fight will never stop.
Because trans rights are human rights.
