Been trying to get out and plant bulbs and get some colour into the garden. Defeated by near continuous rain this weekend but these cyclamen in the rain are proper little beauties!

Just wanted to add some colour to my day.

A sunflower today for Brayden Brown, who will be missing her Gran but was so brave, strong and calm when visiting her each day in hospital.
You are a wonderful caring person, she was so proud of all you achieved.

One sent to me from friends on the other side of the world, Bali to be more precise!
Thank you Patrina and Tim for sharing some of the beauties there and sending your love with them too. Its been a long time since we saw you but good to see you are flourishing.

The faded beauty of a late season foxglove.
We were lucky to get away to Glenmore, near Aviemore. If you have never been then try and get there. Woodland and loch, just Scotland at its best...

Sunshine in the form of Rudbeckia.
My brother Fergus has a stunning bed of these in front of the house.
A blessed relief and joy to see in a street where lots of gardens are sadly paved over for parking lots.
We need all our green spaces however small.

One for my sister Heather Allen, as this bee visited the Bell Heather that I was trying to photograph in the Scottish Highlands.
I now know there are 3 types of Heather in the heathlands so that's a new thing I have learnt today. This one with its tiny bells is perhaps the bonniest.

I think the lily pad leaves are almost as beautiful as the flower on this dark flowering nasturtium. A walk with beach, woods and cafe to finish was perfect on Sunday, good for the body and soul.

This is Rosebay willowherb, a w**d, stunning when you see the detail!

Though perhaps I shouldn't have let one get to 6 foot in our front garden.

On a more serious note this week has been a bit of a challenge.

Reaching out to reconnect with friends made all the difference. So that bit courage was repaid in spades with the love that came back.

I haven’t had a chance to get back to messages yet but they mean a lot.

If anyone is feeling low reach out as your friends want to be there for you.

These are Proteas, and I think I finally am getting into my Mum's love of pink! Maybe that is part of her legacy.
Ailsa brought me these beauties and I have never had them before, they are pretty amazing.
