Our lovely ladies have been busy rehearsing, learning new songs, perfecting old ones and, of course, having plenty of laughs along the way. 😀

What a joy it was for Côr Y Bryn to join the wonderful team at Ty Gwynno Care Home for their annual fete, as part of our Care Home Concerts, proudly sponsored by CENIN! 🎶❤️

It was so lovely to see everyone joining in, singing along and enjoying the afternoon together — even though it was hotter than the inside of a pottery kiln! 🔥😂

A huge well done to everyone involved in making it such a special day. We absolutely loved being part of it! 🥰🎶

So proud of my lovely choir girls tonight!

They all brought donations along for Taff Ely Foodbank this evening, and it just goes to show what kind, caring ladies they are. It makes me so proud to be Chair of such a wonderful bunch.

What a truly wonderful time we had today as we visited the first of our care homes chosen from our random draw!

It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with the lovely residents of Fairfield House in Tonypandy. They gave us such a warm welcome and really got involved, singing and clapping along with us. Moments like these remind us just how special music can be in bringing people together.

A huge thank you to all the amazing staff at Fairfield House for helping us organise the visit and for looking after us so well. We feel so grateful to have shared such a lovely evening with everyone and can’t wait to visit the next care home!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who nominated a care home for a free Côr Y Bryn concert. We were genuinely overwhelmed by the number of nominations we received and are so grateful for the wonderful support from our local community.

As there were far more nominations than we could accommodate, we carried out a random draw to ensure the selection was fair.

Llongyfarchiadau! 🎉 We will be in touch with each of you very soon to arrange a suitable date, and we can’t wait to come and share an afternoon of music with your residents.

To everyone who took the time to nominate a care home, thank you once again. We wish we could visit every one of them, and we hope this will be the first of many opportunities to bring the joy of singing to care homes across our community.

Due to tomorrow’s weather trying its very best to cook us all alive, rehearsal has been cancelled! 🌞

It’s too hot for us to gather. But it’s definitely not too hot to learn the words to our new songs. 🎶

So grab a cold drink. Find a shady spot, and spend a little time getting familiar with those lyrics.

Special thanks to Andy, Mike and lan. It's so lovely to be able to sit back and enjoy live music again. And of course, we couldn't do it without our very own dynamic duo, Meryn and Lorna! 💫
