Next Tuesday (8th September) is the first LGBTQ+ craft club night! We'll be having a go at some needle felting! If you're part of the LGBTQ+ community and want to do some crafts with other LGBTQ+ folk, then come along! We're meeting at Minerva Arts Centre at 6.30 - 8.30pm. This is a really new group so will evolve over time. So long as its crafty, we're up for it! Please be aware if you're planning to visit our exhibition this Saturday. We will be open as normal but local roads in the town centre are closed until 1pm along with both car parks (closed until 3pm). Alternative parking should be signposted but may be quite a walk if you have mobility issues. Apologies in advance - out of our control.

This week's has been donated by Elaine Morgan. It is a beautiful quilt made for international women's day in the late 1990s organised by the late Doreen Gough, long time Trustee of The Quilt Association.

It has been made in suffragette colours, signifying the strength of the women who made it. It is special because it represents all the hsrd work a small group of women put in to organising events to celebrate International Womens Day as well as their day jobs.

You can see this quilt as part of our exhibition of antique and heritage quilts until 22nd August

We are loving our shop! So many cute presents and gifts! It's the final weeks of our current exhibition of antique and heritage quilts along with visiting textile artists Tangent Textiles. We're open Wed - Sat 10.30- 4.30 at Minerva Arts Centre

Our vibrant antique and heritage quilt collection exhibition 'Kaleidoscope' is open today 10:30 - 16:30!

Pop in to see the exhibition and our pop up shop, and spend the day wandering around . Pop into Bethel Street Market & Community Facilities and Llanidloes Charter Market before heading for coffee or lunch at one of our MANY amazing cafes and restaurants.
