Just a reminder about The 20 Club's play reading tomorrow evening at The RAFA Club, Llangollen

On the paddle steamer Lotus, wealthy heiress Kay Ridgeway is honeymooning with Simon Mostyn, the man she "stole" from her best friend, Jacqueline de Severac. Jacqueline follows them, culminating in a public scene where she shoots Simon in the leg.

When Kay is found murdered the next morning, Jacqueline and Simon seem cleared by their respective injuries and alibis. Canon Pennefather must investigate a boatload of suspects with hidden motives.

This taut adaptation of Christie’s classic novel replaces Hercule Poirot with the Canon, focusing on a deadly conspiracy born of obsessive love, greed, and calculated deception.
