Had a wonderful day at the Royal Cambrian Academy Art gallery yesterday at Graham Cox’s opening event. It was lovely to see and chat with him. He was my tutor at North Shropshire college back in the late 80’s . I have very happy memories of that time . Upstairs at the Royal Cambrian Academy in Conway is the work of Ben Johnson who I was fortunate to meet yesterday. I had never seen his work before but I really liked it. Architectural photo realism with a twist. He is Royal college of Art alumni like me . I got to talk to him, he was everso nice , intelligent, interesting, charming. It was such a pleasant afternoon.
