📣 Call for Artists: Autumn 2026 Open Call 📣

Y Tŷ Celf's Autumn 2026 Open Call invites artists to submit their work under the theme of Cwtch, a concept that embodies comfort, safety, and warmth, perfectly suited for the autumn season.

This theme offers a unique opportunity for artists to explore and express their interpretation of Cwtch. We eagerly await the submissions that will showcase the diverse perspectives on this theme.

Successful applicants notified: 25/09/26
Delivery Dates: 26/09/26 - 03/10/26
Exhibition Dates: 10/10/26 – 07/11/26
Launch Event: 10/10/26
Unsold Work Collected: 07/11/26 - 14/11/26

❗Submission Requirements:
Each applicant may submit up to 3 images of their work.
The submission fee is £5 per image.
Submissions must be made online at www.ytycelf-thearthouse.com
Applicants must be age 16+ and living in the UK.
🖼 2D and 3D works are permitted.
There is no minimum size but the maximum size is 85x65cm.

Y Ty Celf art classes for those living with cognitive impairment

📣 Free Workshops - Starting from September!

We are running FREE workshops, specifically designed for individuals living with cognitive impairments, including dementia, and those aged 65+ experiencing financial difficulties.

🎨Y Tŷ Celf - The Art House will be holding free workshops at the gallery and Canolfan Pentre Awel.
These sessions provide a unique opportunity to foster social connections in a safe, warm, and welcoming environment. Light refreshments will be served, and carers and companions are also invited to attend.

🖼We will also be running workshops in partnership with Swansea University's Festival of Science from October, offering participants the chance to showcase their artwork at our gallery, promoting conversation, refreshments, and a celebration of their creative achievements.

* please note that workshops in Y Ty Celf will take place on the first floor, accessible via stairs.

📣 CALLING ALL ART GRADUATES!

We have a very exciting opportunity for art graduates at Y Tŷ Celf - The Art House!

🖼 We are offering art grads a shared wall space in the gallery for only £25 a month!

We understand how lost you can feel after graduating art school and having to navigate the art world alone. Thats why we would like to create a welcoming space for you to exhibit your work at a discounted price, with support from our artists.

✉️ To apply:
Send up to 3 images to us with titles, mediums and sizes.
We would also like to know a bit about you and your work. (This does not need to be long or super formal, so please don't stress!)
