Dragon Rally!! π² What an amazing experience for us, in so many different ways!! The honest truth, that bands won't typically post on their pages:
Sometimes band stuff is hard. Sometimes things don't go to plan, or they're not how you envisioned. Sometimes there is a genuine "is this stress worth it". Sometimes an on stage story tells a different story from what the audience got.
This gig taught us so many things. Without giving away everything, one huge lesson is definitely watching footage back before you make your mind up on a performance! Technical issues on stage really set in our minds we'd flubbed this one, and it can be hard when people come up to you telling you how amazing you were when you've got it in your mind some things were a disaster. Most of the things we were fretting about you really couldn't tell from the audience POV! Perspective from both sides is important, and watching the videos back we are very proud of what we've put together.
Tim never played a bass in his life before this gig, and he picked it up with absolute ease. He got the songs learned, and he played like an absolute beast.
Nick has endured the heaviest workouts (especially in the heat π₯΅), drumming away ferociously, keeping us all together and doing a hell of a job.
Steve, who let's be honest is our third full time member, once again has nailed the task at hand, his stage confidence grew exponentially and he is a welcomed and important member of what we're doing.
Thanks for joining us boys, and thanks for the hard work. It absolutely paid off, and we can't wait to share some clips. We did have a hell of a lot of fun.β₯οΈ
Mike and Azaria have both learned so much throughout this process, and we're absolutely going to line up another blinder for you lot. π₯
Next up for Them In Black is TIB IV: TIV on October 2nd and we ARE about to start harassing you all to get tickets πποΈ.
