Off to UKAPP Conference! 🖤

We’re heading to Nottingham for the annual UKAPP Conference! 🎓

We’ll be spending Sunday, Monday and Tuesday learning, sharing knowledge, catching up with fellow piercers and generally geeking out about all things piercing.

And Aldo will also be teaching at the conference, so we’re particularly excited to be there! 👀

Because of the conference, Brazen Body Piercings will be closing early at 1pm on Saturday 12th September, and will remain closed Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th September.

We’ll be back in the studio as normal from Wednesday 16th September.

And who knows… we might even come back with some new jewellery for you. 👀✨

A little clarification following our previous post ❤️

We’ve removed our previous post because, unfortunately, the comments became focused on shaming the client’s appearance rather than the actual issue. That was never our intention, and nobody should be shamed for seeking help after a bad piercing.

What we do want people to take away from this is the importance of checking who is piercing you.

In Wales, body piercing is regulated by law. A piercer must hold the appropriate Special Procedures Licence, and body piercing must be carried out at the approved premises listed on their licence.

This means that someone offering to come to your home to perform a piercing is either not licensed to perform that procedure, or is operating outside the conditions of their licence.

Before booking, do your research. Check your piercer’s licence, check their premises, ask about their jewellery and hygiene practices, and don’t be afraid to walk away if something doesn’t feel right.

When your supplier sends you cake 😍😍😍
We buy the majority of our studio supplies from and have done for years.
They are the absolute best and this week they celebrated 5 years since they launched their new site. We were one of the first people to order back then. So as a thanks they sent us cake 🎂!
