To my friend Emran Erfan
I lost the use of my left hand when I was 19
I still have limited function
I can play ok now but I used to have to adapt and think outside the box.
In hospital me and Stephen Bill played zelda on n64 with one hand each and it was hilarious.
Later I bought a steering wheel so I could use the pedals instead of my left hand for double dash.
I learnt to spread my hand across me retro controllers.
I even learnt how to play some games with my feet π
Smash brothers melee became the best physio therapy I ever had to help my nevres regain function in my thumb.
But here's the best tip I have..
Get a ds and a wii.
It was just a lucky coincidence that those consoles came out when they did.
They are perfect for 1 hand for most games.
Allot of smart phone and vr games can be enjoyed with one hand.
Do a youtube series about your journey to recovery with gaming and make some money off us all π
You will be fine my friend π§‘
It's not game over yet
