CHOREO SNEAK PEAK....... 👀

So slick, comedic, stylish, clever and upbeat are the dance routines in this years under the canopy show that we can really only tease you with a very short blast so not to give away too many dance spoilers, we've also sped it up so that the magic really is saved for the moment, although some routines do actually feel that fast

A real homage to the hard work and persistence of our lovely cast. At most rehearsals they're met with new routines to learn, new positions to remember, and new sequences and steps to master, yet they take it all in their stride. Honestly, one of the biggest thrills of being part of something like this is watching it all start to come together.

Following the sell-out success of last year's Step in Time, we're heading back under the canopy for another unforgettable evening of music, song and dance.

This year, we're celebrating the Golden Age of Broadway and the silver-screen magic of MGM's greatest musicals. From the wide-open plains of Oklahoma! to the spirited adventures of Calamity Jane and Annie Get Your Gun, expect harmony and humour, show-stopping dance numbers and sing-along moments, this is your call to mark up those diaries and join us this June!

THE TEMPEST – Open-Air Theatre
Settle into the amphitheatre for an outdoor performance of Shakespeare’s The Tempest by the Willow Globe Theatre Company.

There's magic, mischief, storms, spirits and adventure in this exciting, family-friendly retelling of one of Shakespeare’s most beloved stories.

Members of Llandrindod Wells Theatre Company were honoured to help celebrate the 60th anniversary of Wylesfield Residential Home with an evening of songs from musical theatre.
It was a truly special night, filled with music, memories and plenty of singing along from the residents. We are always proud to bring live performance into the home — because theatre belongs to everyone, and some of the most magical audiences are those who can’t always get out to see it.
Congratulations to Wylesfield on 60 wonderful years of care and community

THAT’S A WRAP, FOLKS…

What do you say when you don’t quite know what to say? Not because there isn’t much to say, but because there’s almost too much to say.

I guess the most important thing is simply thank you. Thank you to everyone who came along this weekend, to everyone who helped in any way, and to everyone here on this little page of ours, championing us, willing us on, laughing at some truly questionable captions, sharing our show and fully embracing the pantomime chaos. It’s been an absolute blast.

It might be obvious (and slightly eye-roll-inducing) to say “there’s no I in team”, but we realised yesterday that there is a team in pantomime, and really, that’s what makes the whole thing happen.

Here’s to prioritising people. To being together. To sharing an afternoon at the panto, being roped into backstage help, selling programmes, or looking after the junior chorus.

None of it works unless we’re all in it together.

Lastly, there were a few moments we didn’t share on socials, because some things are better experienced in person. Theatre is meant to be live, in the moment, not watched through a screen. So here’s to never hearing Pink Pony Club quite the same way again. Here’s to the ICONIC squished Wishee. And here’s to a very special dance number indeed, our very own Coldplay light-show moment… A Sky Full of Stars.
