What a week! 😅 🎶

It has been lovely welcoming my Scottish students back after our extended summer break!

It feels great to be teaching again and hearing everyone play. 🎶

However, my first week back was slightly more eventful than expected, as I somehow managed to squeeze in having my gallbladder removed on Tuesday! 😆 Not quite how I pictured my return to teaching, but I was determined to power through and not let anyone down.

I am really looking forward to seeing what everyone achieves this academic year!

Now the tables have turned and it’s MY turn to practise this weekend for some upcoming weddings. 👰

And students… if I can teach the same week I had my gallbladder removed, I’m fairly sure you can manage a little practice at home this week… pretty please! 😂
