Ladies and gentlemen, Elizabeth Hardy 👏

Some words from Liz:
"I came into acting and directing late, having first joined Merseyside Academy of Drama in 2018, then joining RADS in early 2023, performing in 'Present Laughter' and 'Wanted One Body'. I really enjoyed co-directing 'Ladies Day' in November 2025, and am excited to be directing 'The Late Mrs Early', which is a great comedy with many farcical moments, featuring a very talented cast."

Liz's favourite line from the show...
"There were nowt wrong with our marriage. The trouble started after we'd left the church."

"This is my second outing with RADS and as the token Southerner am attempting a Yorkshire accent. Alice is a joy to play even though she is quite awful!"

Making her RADS debut, we are proud to introduce, Paula Jones to our stage!

Some words from Paula:
"Hi, I'm Paula and I'm playing the part of Lucy Rickworth. I'm new to RADS and this is my first performance! I was involved in plays at school (which was a long time ago!) and apart from my passion for running murder mystery dinners for friends this is my only previous acting experience. However, I am a "performer" having played alto/ tenor sax and flute in bands all my adult life, mostly Latino and Soul music. I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone in retirement so I auditioned for RADs!"

Paula's favourite line...
"We all know how you managed to catch your husband Mrs Sutton... simple, he couldn't run fast enough!"

"Hi there, I'm Steve Hughes and I'll be playing Rueben Rickworth. I could be considered a RADS veteran now after joining way back in 2018! I have had parts in Subject to contract, Funny money, House guest, Wanted, one body, Stopped interrupting and A bunch of amateurs."
