Yay, it’s Friday! 🎉 And even better, Blondie has a brand new single out 'Spectral Eyes' and a new album 'High Noon' coming in February. I’ve already pre‑ordered my vinyl and can’t wait!

If you want something to get yourself in the mood, you can always treat yourself to one of my prints...they really are Atomic! Have a great weekend 😀

Many thanks to Chris from Luton for sending over this great photo of him with his latest painting. Some of you may remember he’s a huge Propaganda fan and previously commissioned me to create a pop art piece inspired by their classic A Secret Wish album.

He was so thrilled with that first painting that he asked me to follow it up with a piece based on xPropaganda’s The Heart Is Strange album. So he now is the proud owner of two complementary artworks celebrating one of his favourite synthpop bands.

Cheers, Chris. Thanks for the opportunities, I’ve absolutely loved painting these 🙌

If you’re dreaming of an alternative Christmas this year, skip the generic snowmen and send something with real attitude 🖤

I still have a few of my 80s Goth Greetings Cards in stock - moody, iconic, and guaranteed to make your mates say “finally…a card that gets me.”

Perfect for anyone who’d rather deck the halls in black eyeliner than tinsel. Go on…make it a Gothmas to remember 🦇🎄

Unbelievable that Dave Vanian of The Damned turns 70 today! What a legend, have a great birthday Dave 🎂🎉

Happy 73rd birthday to the magnificent Midge Ure. I'll be playing Ultravox's Vienna album in his honour today - a timeless synth classic, still haunting with one of the greatest atmospheres ever created in the 80s. Have a great day Midge!

Double Decker...two Carol's for the price of one 😁 This is my mash up of a couple of videos I took of T'pau/Carol Decker who were brilliant at The Live Rooms in Chester on Sunday night. Carol was in fine form and looking at her on the right is like watching a fitness workout...incredible to think that's she going to be 70 next year, and The Bridge of Spies album will be 40 years old! Feels like only yesterday I bought that album as a 17 year old ☺️

My latest commission is another electronic music infused piece, this time featuring the band xPropaganda, made up of the 2 original female singers from the 80s German synthpop band Propaganda - Susanne Freytag and Claudia Brücken. It's inspired from the imagery of their critically praised 2022 studio album 'The Heart is Strange' but with my usual pop art twist. Hope you like it 🩶❤️🤍🖤

Canvas prints are available from my website as usual www.pippopart.com

OMG, Alison Moyet was absolutely sensational at the Liverpool Empire on Monday night, I loved every second of it, and so good to hear so many of the old Yazoo tracks being performed live. What a class act 👌

Revealing my brand new commission featuring 2 female artists from an 80s synthpop group.
