In late 2025, Diego De Grandi was approached by the organisers of São Chico Beatles Festival (Brazil) to create a band to accompany Clark Gilmour at the festival with his Bob Dylan tribute, Tangled Up In Dylan. The ensemble was such a success that Diego and the rest of the "the band" decided that they had to continue this musical project, and where better, than Diego's home away from home, Liverpool?

And so... Basement Beat was created! The name referencing both the basement where Bob Dylan and his band rehearsed and recorded in 1967 (The Basement Tapes) and the famous basement club on Mathew Street, where they will soon be playing, The Cavern Club! Joining Diego (on guitar) are Jeancarlo Leismann (piano and keyboards), Cristiano Rocha (bass) and Lázaro Rodineli da Silva (drums). The band have a natural chemistry and a mutual love for British rock 'n' roll throughout the decades and they can't wait to play this out live in front of Beatleweek audiences.

An ever revolving door of Swedish musicians, The Bertils are a musical collective spearheaded by band leader and Hall of Fame inductee Kent Adeborn. Kent has been bringing groups of Swedish travellers for longer than he'd care to admit and they have become an essential part of the yearly congregation of Beatleweekers, not only adding to the audiences, but also facilitating in bringing some fantastic artists over the years.

Catch The Bertils over the weekend with regular members: Kent, Olle S and Jimmie plus guests, Phil, Lars and Olle B.

John Juárez is only 16 years old yet shows the talent and skill of a much more experienced musician. He is coming to Liverpool from Almería (Spain) to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the creation of Strawberry Fields Forever by Lennon in his sunny homeland in 1966. This is his first participation in International Beatleweek.

His performances are full of energy and freshness - qualities that shine throughout his wide repertoire. He discovered the Beatles at age 9, and his passion has continued to grow, fuelled by the deep love that Almería has for the Beatles, and for John Lennon in particular. He has often attended the festivals held every year in this corner of Spain.

Two old mates with a passion for Beatles music, Stace and Jon, got together in 2013 to busk at a 50th anniversary celebration of the Fab Four playing a week of gigs in Weston Super Mare. It went rather well and they realised just how much they enjoyed playing and singing together.

Despite not being in the womb together, they decided to call themselves The Fab Twins. Though not biologically related they share twin spirits in their admiration for the music and harmonies of The Beatles, The Everly Brothers and many others, and they certainly are Fab!

Established in 2024, Kirribilly is far more than a tribute act; they are an Indonesian "supergroup" that unites four of the most influential forces in the Southeast Asian music industry. Comprising Ade "Govinda," Ikmal Tobing, Rafly "The Banery," and Dikky Lennon, the band brings decades of collective professional excellence to the stage to breathe new life into the most iconic catalog in music history: The Beatles.

Kirribilly is the definitive answer for those who crave the magic of The Beatles but demand the intensity of modern rock performance. Because in the end, within every show they deliver, the message remains the same—just with a much bolder energy: "All You Need Is... KIRRIBILLY."

A Beatles-inspired band founded in Bishkek in 2010. Over the years, the band has become a distinctive musical project in Central Asia, specialising in British and American music of the 1960s and 1970s, with a strong focus on the legacy of The Beatles. Today, The Rolls are known by virtually every Beatles fan in Kyrgyzstan and have built a loyal and growing audience across the region.

Back for their second time after debuting in 2024, they have prepared an updated programme that will include many new songs alongside some of our strongest and most popular performances. The set will feature a selection of rare early Beatles tracks as well as later-period songs with complex vocal harmonies and arrangements, showcasing different eras of the band’s creative evolution in a fresh and engaging way.

We are truly saddened to hear of the passing of legendary producer Jack Douglas.

Jack worked with so many incredible artists, including Aerosmith, Patti Smith, Cheap Trick and, of course, John Lennon and Yoko Ono. He produced Double Fantasy, as well as Milk and Honey, which was completed and released after John’s death.

It was this connection that brought Jack to International Beatleweek in 2019 as a very special guest. He spoke candidly and truthfully about both his working and personal relationship with John and Yoko, giving fans a rare insight into that remarkable time.

Jack also loved The Cavern and Liverpool, and it was a real pleasure to spend time with him.

RIP Jack, and thank you for the music. 🖤

Danilo is a Beatleweek legend who has brought the carnival vibes of Rio to Liverpool for over 10 years. Since 2013, Danilo has appeared at the festival in numerous guises including: “The Harrison and McCartney Tribute”, “The Blue Beetles”, and Gavin Pring’s solo project, “George Harry’s Son”. He’s played Lennon sets with Clark Gilmour in Liverpool and Brazil as well as sharing stages with Jay Goeppner and Nube 9 in the USA with many Abbey Road On The River festival attendances under his belt. Danilo performs dedicated solo shows to George Harrison and Cat Stevens and still finds time to party every night of the week!

Two of Us have been involved in Beatleweek for over 25 years now. They have played 132 gigs in all these years and they’re still counting. Last year 2025 Adrie van Osch and Jos Vervoort celebrated their 50 year anniversary in their hometown Boxtel in The Netherlands with a concert, together with all the friends that they ever played music with. They started the concert with “Blackbird”, the first song they ever played and recorded. The evening was completely sold out. Two of Us is very grateful for having the possibility to sing and play for 50 years now. But they sure like to add some more years to it, especially in Liverpool!

This year, as they do every year on all their gigs, they'll pass out a list with their 175 Beatles songs and the audience will choose the set list. They’re waiting for you to shout again!!
