L4 Performance and Production students rehearsing their new devised show
Home: The Architecture of Belonging.

This show lingers in the in-between — where nostalgia blurs truth, where identity stretches across fractured geographies, where “home” is less a place and more a negotiation. It asks: who gets to belong without question, and who is always translating themselves to stay?

See it in LJMUs John Foster Drama Studio Thursday Studio Thursday 26th March at 2pm and 5pm

We are so sad to hear about the closure of The Scottish Institute of Theatre, Dance, Film and Television.

Our thoughts are with the staff who have lost their jobs and the students now facing uncertainty about their futures. The collapse of such a vital creative institution is a significant loss to the arts community, both in Scotland and across the UK.

One of our remarkable lecturers, Andrew Sherlock, has just launched his book, *Fall From Ireland*, now ready for pre-order on Amazon!

*Fall from Ireland* draws inspiration from the powerful stage production, *Fall from Grace*. Crafted by Andrew Sherlock, who brings a unique blend of Catholic and Protestant, Liverpool and Irish heritage, this captivating narrative delves into the lives of the Irish who shaped Liverpool's gritty, vibrant, and politically astute identity. Spanning from 1928 to the 1980s, it poignantly captures one family's fight against poverty, the challenges of emigration, the shadows of religious bigotry, and the resurgence of turmoil in Ireland.
