After a few days of celebration (and deep rest 🌸) I can finally say it: Master’s done. Thesis defended. And somehow... cm laude. Who would’ve thought?🙈

Endless thanks to my friends and family for the love and support through every twist of this journey. To - for the encouragement, the long talks, and the moments we shared during fieldwork. To people who helped me believe in this project when it was just a seed. And finally, to my tutors on the course — thank you for your guidance and for pushing me forward throughout my Master’s.

Exploring natural dyeing with rose petals on rose silk — part of my ongoing research From Bloom to Fabric: Reimagining Rose Waste.

The scarf began as a quiet conversation between gestures, stories, and the rhythm of hands that have spent a lifetime creating.

From sketches and mood boards to printed silk, it became a piece that celebrates patience, intuition, and the beauty of the handmade.

Inspired by my meetings with artisans in Como — their passion, their way of seeing time — this project grew into more than a design; it became a reflection of emotion and craft. Every line, every colour layered to echo care, tradition, and timeless beauty.

Curtains that hold the sky

These panels are inspired by the ever-changing clouds over Lake Como - soft, shifting, and full of quiet drama.

I wanted to capture that sense of movement and lightness, translating the poetry of the sky into fabric that transforms a space.

This is part of my ongoing exploration into materials, nature, and design - where textiles become more than function, they become atmosphere.

Each stamped symbol connects back to my family — messy, meaningful, and made with love.
