Not because I think every family’s story is the same, but because these are the things I’ve experienced, witnessed and thought about since becoming a solo parent
The reality is, no one dreams of raising children alone. Yet so many mums are judged more harshly for leaving than they are supported for starting again

I can’t tell you how many dates I’ve left knowing:
✔️ Where he grew up.
✔️ His job.
✔️ His ex.
✔️ His next holiday.
✔️ His gym routine.
Then I get in the car and think...
what does he actually know about me?

Don’t get me wrong, everyone talks about themselves when they’re nervous. But there’s a difference between nerves and showing zero curiosity about the person sitting opposite you
I’ve realised that one of the biggest green flags isn’t grand gestures or fancy dates...
It’s someone who genuinely wants to know who you are
