Animal : Party A new jam collective with a revolving cast of contributors and participants. Improv / Garage funk / groove / Latin / Afro / beats / percussion and other.....

The objective of Animal:Party is to create a loose but integrated musical affiliation with various street outfits and jam collectives / DJs and artists all over the City of Liverpool - we share a particular compatibility and connection with all free spirits and any folks who just want to get together and make a good old loose 'n' funky racket....there is no discrimination: we are hoping to nurture an open house for the creative and groove-minded mavericks amongst us. :)

After an interminable period of complete inactivity (the only event being an impromptu jam in Oosterdok in Amsterdam in 2018), we are working on finally getting Animal : Party Improv Jam Happenings off the ground at a venue or space to be confirmed in due course. Anybody who is interested in getting involved need only turn up on the day with an instrument, and we shall see what happens. Nothing is planned. Nothing is rehearsed. Nothing is delegated. Nothing is taken for granted. If you are the sort of free spirit and maverick who thrives in situations like this, then you are what we are seeking for the next spontaneous 'happening' which will be announced just before it is due to take place. Keep your pulse on the button here..... :D

This mega sh*tty write-off of a year has meant that any genuine hopes of making ANIMAL:PARTY v.2 happening has hit the wall and crashed over the cliff..... sadly that seems to be the way with pretty much the rest of our creative and musical concerns thus far. Here is hoping that sometime in the near future a concerted effort will be made to get back out there and to see which kindred spirits will be able and willing to come join us on another strange, unpredictable trip.
The first impromptu gathering which took place in Amsterdam at the Oosterdok NieuweART garage in November 2018 was pretty mental I can tell you!

THIS IS OPEN TO EVERYBODY - no need to be a muso or a virtuoso - anybody can join in on the jam and improv madness! SEE YOU SOON, HOPEFULLY..... in 2021?
