Medy Lema is a Belgian-born and UK-based Pop R&B artist started his career appearing on BRIT Awards 2013 alongside YouTube sensation Conor Maynard, then later on appeared as a contestant on the X Factor UK series in 2016, grabbing major attention from the judges.
Medy went viral with his artistry continues to thrive.

Janoma Omena is a Nigerian spoken word artist whose work explores queerness, young adulthood, women’s reproductive health and migrations. Expect gentle sapphic yearning, philosophical rage and tender contemplations.

Clif Alegu is a Nigerian-born spoken word poet, writer, and performer based in Manchester. His work explores identity, community, language, migration, and Black cultural memory. He wrote and performed his debut solo show, Utterance, in 2021, and performed at the Lagos International Poetry Festival. He has since become an active voice in the spoken word scene in the North West of England.

Emmy is a spoken word artist whose voice is a bridge between worlds, weaving the complexities of dual identity with the rhythm of poetry. With roots planted in both Iraqi heritage and British culture, their work explores the delicate balance between two cultures, tracing the edges where they collide, converge, and ultimately transform into something new.

Sarah's music song writing is from a place of love care and consideration for healing and collective consciousnesses. She is a sound-bath and gong therapist and uses music as a form of transformative change and acceptance.

BLKJPTR is a poet and DJ living in a universe of deep thought and complex beats.

As a poet, BLKJPTR writes in a conversational style that invites listeners in to unpack the assumptions we rarely question. Her work challenges common societal perspectives and pushes audiences to sit with discomfort, ask why things are the way they are, and consider what it might look like to think differently.

Behind the decks, BLKJPTR moves fluidly across Soul, House, Bass, Garage, Drum & Bass, and Jungle, building sets that shift energy and mood while staying rooted in groove. The same instinct that shapes her poetry shows up in her DJ sets; a refusal to stay in one lane, and a belief that genre, like perspective, is something to be questioned and played with.

Emery stone also known by Chelsey Linnea Emery is an international performer adopted from Houston Texas and based in Liverpool England. Her skill set spans across musical theatre, singing, film, television, voiceover, commercial work, modeling, and dance. She has recently been on the panel for the 2026 Persian Film Awards.

Additionally, she directed a production called Layers of Love which was showcased by BlackFest at the Shakespeare North Playhouse in Liverpool during the BlackFest 2025 festival.

Chelsey has been performing and touring on land and sea with the Lavelles The Ladies of Motown on a West End standard production with an incredible team of people. Chelsey, also works very closely with fostering charities and is passionate about community, nature, and spiritual growth.

Having lived in England, Germany, and South Korea, she is passionate about debunking stereotypes for womenof colour and walking in her path as a creative entrepreneur by utilising joy as a political protest.

Blu Boy is a rapper and poet whose art is both an expression and reflection of self and a personal point of view response to injustice. Conscious rapper retro and introspective music to advocate for marginalised people, and to be a representative for the experience of Black & mixed youth who grew up in white spaces as this experience has been overlooked in UK HipHop & Rap music.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHTS - Sarah Lèvine | Remée | Alexis Maxwell | Loisha | Jaqson

Sarah Levine is a Liverpool based comedian, poet, content creator and emerging media personality whose relatable humour and authentic storytelling have made her one of the UK’s fastest-growing comedy talents. Sarah's performances shine through her honest, unfiltered take on modern life, relationships, family and motherhood.

Remée is a Liverpool-born singer, songwriter, artist. Remée has built her creative journey around storytelling, originality and self-expression. She has appeared on Channel 4s Your Song, where she performed her original song 'Life's a Bitch' a deeply personal song written and dedicated to her mum following her passing as well as appearing on ITV's Starstruck.

Jaqson Johnston-Lynch a stand up comic from Liverpool that has a dry sense of humour, also a lover of dry food.
 Loisha Nyakupfuka is a British‑Zimbabwean performer and theatre‑maker born and raised in Salford. Her work explores identity and the tension of growing up between opposing cultures. Working across a fusion of spoken word, movement and music, she creates performances that reflect the nuances of being Black in Britain and having migrant heritage. She is committed to amplifying narratives that resist eurocentric standards and also aims to challenge and decolonise traditional approaches to theatre and storytelling.

Alexis Maxwell is a multi-disciplinary storyteller, exploring the world through work that is conversational, poetic and experimental. Their practice embraces the whimsical, drawing from fiction and fantasy to create immersive imagery. Self-taught animator and long-time fan of all things spoken word, autoethnographic explorations of oral histories, they reach across disciplines to discover ways of retelling lived experiences. Crudely drawn imagery, purposely distorted audio and cheap alternatives to modern technology.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHTS - Clio | MD Productions | Malcolm | Ujima Ice cream | | Batalamersey

Clio C is a dynamic spoken word Zimbabwean multidisciplinary creative. She is an actor, Afrofusion movement dancer, & Presenter. Her roots and London upbringing, her work include youth welfare, mental health advocacy and cultural change making. Clio in three words, charisma, versatility, and perception.

MD Production - MD Productions recognised as three-time semi-finalists on ITV’s hit show Britain's Got Talent (BGT), they made history by becoming the first-ever act to perform live on a Britain's Got Talent semi-final. A community-focused dance company, performer collective, and creative Organisation. Founded by dancer, choreographer, and social entrepreneur Miguel Doforo, the company prides itself in extensive youth + community outreach work.

Malcolm a spoken word artist. His work explores love, dentity, masculinity. Performing as unsaid.by.mal, Malcolm focuses on authenticity, creating performances that feel personal, reflective, and relatable. His style is calm, thoughtful, and rooted in universal connections.

Ujima Ice Cream, founder Yinka Koomson is the of a Liverpool-based brand bringing people together through premium, handcrafted flavours like baobab and hibiscus. Launched to champion African heritage and welcome everyone into cultural discovery, Ujima embodies the Swahili principle of collective work and responsibility.

Batala Mersey is an upbeat and energetic community drumming group bringing the rhythms of Afro-Brazilian samba! Rhythms are played out on four different types of drum; the heavy Bass line is the heart beat behind the melodic Dobra, the rapid-fire Repinique and the pulsing waves of the Caixia. An exciting fusion of samba, reggae and funk grooves.
