Wednesday, 19th August was an incredible day for the Bootle community! 🤠🔥

​Our staff and talented young people worked tirelessly to bring our Wild West BBQ to life—and everyone truly pulled out all the stops, turning up dressed in their absolute best cowboy attire! 🤠🤠

​Partnering with , we asked our youth what fresh ideas and activities they want to see in their local area, and they truly took the lead on this one from start to finish.

​Huge thanks to everyone who joined in, and a massive shoutout to the for their amazing support.

Our media team captured all the action, creating another fantastic video that shows just how much fun was had.

Saturday, August 15th will forever be a standout memory for everyone at the MYA SPACE Centre.

​For our Marsh Lane Mashup, we transformed SPACE into a vibrant community funfair packed with cake sales, live acts, bingo, interactive games, and even a special visit from the Mayor of Sefton! The event was a true team effort, bringing together fantastic collaborations with CVS Sefton and Pride in Place Bootle to deliver an unforgettable day for the Bootle community.

​What made the day truly special was that it was entirely youth-led. A team of our incredible young people took the reins—handling weeks of planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Every ounce of hard work paid off when seeing the final result.

Yesterday, our young people smashed a First Aid course! 🩹✨

It was a day packed with hands-on learning and plenty of fun 🚑💡

The training team were super impressed with how well everyone got stuck in and participated 👏 massive shoutout to Jean the trainer who realy did have a lovely day meeting our young people.

Most importantly, our young people had an absolute ball doing it! 🙌🎉
