You’re already a confident improviser - but you may not have studied what’s on the page.

If you’re curious about what scripted work can offer your improv, this is a great place to start. We’ll take a peek into actor techniques developed by Stanislavsky and Meisner and break scripts down, bringing insights into your improvised scenes.

This workshop is designed for experienced improvisers ready to deepen their work by exploring the mechanics behind great scripted scenes and applying the tools that underpin compelling scenes.

Its day 14 of 20 shows in 20 days. Less than a week to go until the start of the festival and now we are onto Sunday shows!

Davenham Theatre presents Improv Joy, they would like you to know Kat once went swimming in lake Bala and got caught in a fishing line. She shouted to the fisherman 'You caught a Kat-fish'.... he didn't laugh, he didn't know her name.

Half an hour of joyful improvised comedy brought to your by players from the commuting town of Northwich. Inspired by the games from 'Whose Line is it Anyway?' the players will use your audience suggestions to create spontaneous and fun scenes, improvised entirely on the spot. Have a break from the world, sit back, relax while we retell your joyful ideas as brand new made-up scenes.
