Actually, whilst you're there have a look around at some of the other great shows on The Studio Below and Beyond Liverpool for the Liverpool fringe like short plays, cabaret, comedy and maybe a little more improv if you look hard enough.

So get some culture and support local art!

Join us for our next Beginners Improv Comedy Course!

Liverpool Comedy Improv is the longest running improv comedy school in Liverpool, introducing the joys of improvised comedy to hundreds of people over the past decade.

What is improv you may ask!?

Improv comedy is the art of making up scenes, characters and dialogue on the fly. Everything you create with your scene partners is made up spontaneously without a script (not as hard as you might think - you have unscripted conversations every day!).

This 6 week course introduces you to core principles of improv - you will laugh a lot - AND it can:

Build your confidence personally, socially and professionally.
Unleash your self-expression, imagination and creativity
Encourage you to 'be present'
Boost your mental health and wellbeing.
Develop your spontaneity
Enhance work presentations & public speaking skills.
Help you develop meaningful connections and friendships.

Improv is NOT stand up comedy - you don't have to 'be funny', you don't need any prior experience of acting, drama or performance! You don't need to be an extrovert or confident.

Improv is for everyone and EVERYONE can do it. We teach people from every walk of life.
