🏳️‍🌈 What's all this bo****ks we're reading about Liverpool not having a gay scene? 🤔

We're a little tired of seeing headlines and social media posts constantly talking down a city that has one of the strongest LGBTQ+ scenes in the UK.

Last time we checked, Liverpool had at least **10 fantastic LGBTQ+ venues** flying the flag — more than many cities across the country. Add in the community groups, Pride events, sports teams and social clubs, and there's plenty to celebrate.

At The Navy Bar, we're proud to host dozens of events across the LGBTQ+ spectrum every week, from drag shows and cabaret to events for bears, pups, furries and much more.

This Liverpool Pride we'll be welcoming **Bearskin**, **The Mersey Bears**, **Scouse Furs** and many more community groups, all headlined by **Sum Ting Wong** from RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 1.

The LGBTQ+ scene isn't disappearing. It's evolving, growing and creating new opportunities for people to connect.

Maybe it's time we stopped talking about what's missing and started shouting about what we've got.
