Not only do we have the dates for Event 4 for you, we have the dates for the TWO other Dark Tempus events that will be held in 2015!

We recognise that Candleston is a bit of a distance for a lot of you, and as such we will be allowing players to arrive on site on the Thursday and leave on the Monday if it suits you better for an extra £5 a day. OC drinks, anyone?

We're all really excited for the events next year and hope to see you lot there!

Dark Tempus Event 4: Evolution will be coming spring 2015! We are currently finalising the site and the date so look for information regarding that in the coming weeks, however we can announce that tickets for Event 4 will be a flat £50, rising to £55 for last minute bookings. We really want to say thank you to all of our players so we've decided to lower the base price of tickets from £65.

There is a strong possibility that we will be able to let people arrive on the Thursday for OC drinks for an added £5. As soon as the dates are sorted out we will let you all know but we really can't express how excited we are to dive back into Dark Tempus LARP, and hope that you all feel the same!

Hello all!
I know we've been quiet over the past few months, but I promise we are working on a lot of stuff for you all right now! It's a really exciting time for us at Pocket Universe with so many ongoing projects, new members of the team, and recently lots of new people interested in not only Dark Tempus but StarBorn, too!
As many of you are aware one of the most important goals of ours is to bring events to you with super high levels of immersion and over the last few months we have been looking over loads of ways to continue improving this for you.
To this effect it gives me a huge amount of joy and excitement to introduce the three newest members of our crew; Milo, Moses, and Phantom. We are currently undergoing a lot of training with these three additions, and they are coming along in leaps and bounds. We're hoping to be able to introduce them to you all in person at future Pocket Universe events.
We think that you will probably meet Milo and Moses first, as Phantom is still a baby (at 16 months old) and as such is being given time to grow up and mature.

Safety is, of course, a huge factor for everyone who attends our events (horses included!), so we will be releasing a guide on how to interact with them and what to expect from our four legged friends. All three are very friendly though, if a bit nosey! We have been sitting on this for quite a while but we thought it best to let all of you know that we haven't disappeared, we've just been very busy!

Before the Burn there was StarBorn: a corporation spanning many worlds, leading the way in innovation and colonisation. In this imagining of life in the far future it is sometimes impossible to tell who is more powerful – corporations or governments.

While developing StarBorn we wanted to create a world of environmental storytelling, of mystery, of horror, of the fear of the unknown. We wanted to create a live action role playing experience like no other, where the world around you tells the story and it is your job to unravel the secrets shrouding New Horizon, the colonial base on which StarBorn is set.

One of our main aims is to create a believable experience for people booking onto StarBorn, and as such we have an open line of dialogue with a doctor of astrophysics European Space Agency. We subscribe to the philosophy that 'what you see is what you get', so StarBorn aims to be a completely interactive experience, using the latest technology to enhance your immersion.

StarBorn will be closer to a simulation than a game, and as such will take place largely within a closed environment. There will be opportunities for exploration outside of the New Horizon base, though these will be subject to the environment; after all, if it starts raining acid it probably isn't the best idea to wonder about outside – a breach in your suit will put your life on the line.

We are still in the early development stage of StarBorn, and as we work out the metaphysics of the game some things may be subject to change. Feel free to ask questions, though, and we'll do our best to answer them. If you're interested in a pub meet about StarBorn let us know and we'll do what we can to arrange it, and will bring along as much information as we can gather; here at Pocket Universe Productions there is nothing more important than your opinion.
