What an absolutely incredible day! 💚

Today, our Connect Theatre Company took to the stage for two fantastic performances of Shrek The Musical Jr., and I couldn’t be prouder of every single person involved.

A huge thank you to Miss Kristen and Miss Hannah for your endless hard work, creativity, dedication, and passion in bringing this wonderful production to life. Your commitment to our students is truly inspiring.

To our amazing students – wow! The hard work, determination, and commitment you’ve shown week in and week out has been incredible to watch. You should all be so proud of yourselves. You absolutely shone on that stage today, so many future stars within our presence 👏

A massive thank you also goes to our wonderful chaperones. No performance would be possible without your support, care, and dedication behind the scenes. We appreciate everything you do, you are all superstars 🙏

And finally, thank you to all of our amazing parents for your continued support of Connect Studios. Your encouragement, commitment, and belief in what we do means the world to us.

Being Principal of an all-round performing arts studio in the heart of Seaforth, Liverpool, is something I never take for granted. It is an absolute privilege to help guide, inspire, and support our young people as they grow in confidence, develop lifelong skills, and prepare for whatever their futures may hold, whether that’s on the stage or beyond it.
It's been 1 year (this week) since going solo as the principal of Connect Studios and what an amazing year of achievements it's been for us, I have loved every minute of it.

Today was a reminder of exactly why we do what we do. Watching our students flourish, support one another, and create such special memories is something I’ll always be proud of.

An absolutely incredible day all round!

We are beyond excited to announce that some of our incredible dancers and families will be setting sail on an unforgettable adventure in August 2027! 🌊💃

Sailing the stunning Adriatic Sea, with stops in Croatia, Italy, and Montenegro 🇭🇷🇮🇹🇲🇪 this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience combining performance, travel, and creating lifelong memories together.

This very special trip will also kick-start our 10 year celebrations at Connect Studios… and what a way to begin! 🎉

A huge thank you to Cruise Performers for making this amazing opportunity a reality for our students & families... we are so grateful and can’t wait to be part of it! 🩵

Change is a funny thing… it can feel scary, uncertain, and sometimes a little chaotic but it’s also where the magic happens 🩵

Watching the growth and development of Connect Studios has been something really special. And the best part? Even since filming this, things have already changed again 🙌 (because we just can’t sit still for too long 😂)

At Connect, we truly believe change is GOOD. It’s how we grow, how we improve, and how we continue shaping our students into all-round performers who are confident, skilled, and ready for anything in life regardless if they’ll perform when they’re older or not!

I am constantly learning that:
➡️ You don’t have to do everything yourself
➡️ Investing in the right people is everything
➡️ Stepping out of your comfort zone is where real growth begins

And wow… our team 🩵🖤🩵
We have the most incredible staff here, and I am SO proud of what they’re achieving with our students every single week. But even more than that, I am beyond proud of the children. Their growth is honestly something else. The confidence, the talent, the development… it blows me away 🖤

Running a business with a partner gave Connect Studios its foundations, and I’ll always be grateful for that journey, we created some amazing memories together 🙏
But running it solo now? …it’s bloody incredible 😂 I absolutely love it. It’s mad, it’s full-on, it’s non-stop, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Let’s be honest…
This isn’t a job anymore, it’s a lifestyle that I was born to do 🤣
A “replying to WhatsApp & emails at 11pm, dancing in the office, living off 10 cups of tea vibes” kind of lifestyle ☕💃

And we’re only just getting started!
