We are delighted to tell you that our wonderful volunteer Elaine has been nominated for a BBC Radio Merseyside Make a Difference award 2026. Congratulations!

The awards recognise individuals and groups who make life better for people in our communities.

Elaine has been volunteering at Croxteth Park for 2 years helping assisting in the restoration of the Miniature Railway and volunteering at Railway every weekend since it reopened. She also volunteers at Croxteth Park litter picking, gardening and cleaning the park volunteering each week.
