Had an amazing night last night after being entrusted with the comedy section of NeuroNights: Neuro Mythbusters- Dom Hutchins, AJ Hill, and Emerson Young Comedian were introduced to a wonderful audience by the inimitable Adam Hughes - Comedian!
The scientists-turned-comedians were all fantastic as well, and the willingness of all of them to step outside their comfort zones to do standup for the first time was admirable- so big props to Arnas Tamadauskas, Divya Jain, Antonio Capozio, and Luke Chaplin! They were introduced by Beth Facer, who alongside hosting the science section also worked very hard to organise the night (which will hopefully be the first of many similar events, with a 2nd one coming up on the 24th of April!) and curated the lineup of scientists.
The event was a massive success, raising funds for The Brain Charity alongside providing a diverse and unpredictable night of entertainment and education 🙂
