Here’s a little background on the organisers:

We, Freida & Clare, first met back in 2012 at the renowned Bluecoat in Liverpool. Over the years we have been part of a number of pop-up shops in the centre of Liverpool and Albert Dock. Now we are proud to call The Art Quarter Liverpool in Metquarter our home.

We are both passionate about supporting local businesses and providing a place for talented makers to showcase their work.

There’s a really strong creative community in Liverpool and this market is a wonderful way to celebrate that. We can’t wait to welcome visitors, supporting local makers has never been more important.

Clare Ellis (), one of the four local artists who run The Art Quarter Liverpool, is on shop shift today ✨

Clare has a large selection of her work in store and specialises in intricate dot art — each individual dot carefully created using the end of a paintbrush and dotting tools.

Her fine art prints are hand-embellished with crystals, adding an extra touch of elegance and detail to every piece 💎

We’re open until 4pm today — pop in and say hello!

We are delighted to announce that signed books by artist Peter Cameron are now available in store. Peter previously joined us for our pop-up shops in Liverpool.

‘This book traces the career of the Liverpool based figurative artist, Peter Cameron, from teaching himself to draw and paint while serving a prison sentence, through gaining the prizes, solo shows and commissions that marked his national success, to evolving a practice in response to Parkinson’s.’
