The Art Quarter Liverpool is a collection of local artists who originally formed in 2015 for the award winning 'ONEart' in Liverpool ONE. When the tenure ended, the group continued to 'pop up' in galleries, other shops and festivals all over Liverpool. Many of us have lots of incredibly valued stockists and exhibit in galleries around the country. But, we are different - our artists are behind the

counter and can tell you all about the inspiration and stories behind their work. When you buy a piece of work from us you are supporting an individual independent business and helping the local economy. Here are the Artists, together with links where you can view more of their individual work:

🎉 Today we’re celebrating 7 years of our independent shop in Metquarter! 🎉

What a journey it has been.

When we first opened our doors, there were over 10 local artists running the shop. Seven years on, we’re now a team of four - Freida, Clare, Elaine and Marianna - and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built together.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Metquarter team for their continued support over the years. Their encouragement has helped us create a space where independent artists can share their work with thousands of visitors.

More than colleagues, we’re friends. We support one another, work hard together, share plenty of laughs and all have the same passion for our little shop.

Most importantly, thank you to every customer who has walked through our doors, supported local artists and chosen to shop small. Every purchase, kind word and recommendation means the world to us.

Here’s to everything we’ve achieved over the past seven years, and to an exciting future ahead 🤍

Our Summer Market is nearly here and we are so excited!

As local independent artists ourselves, we’re looking forward to meeting lots of new makers and welcoming back familiar faces.

Every market brings together a fantastic mix of talented creatives & small businesses and this one is shaping up to be another brilliant 2 day event.
