SERIOUSLY, WE’RE FUNDED! 🥳

Huge news! We are over the moon to announce that The Seriously Stupid Show has been awarded a National Lottery Project Grant from Arts Council England! 🎭

They’ve given us the official stamp of approval to keep being stupid! 🤪

In all seriousness, what they are supporting is a screen-free creative hub where kids are exposed to alternative art forms - giving them a platform to dive headfirst into creativity, express themselves and take creative risks. 🎨

We can’t wait to see you at our next monthly installment for more chaos, creativity and utter stupidness! 📆

Massive thanks to Arts Council England, Department for Culture, Media and Sport, unity theatre, Eli Randle and all National Lottery players for encouraging our daftness! 🤡

We had a seriously stupid show on Saturday The Seriously Stupid Show ! 🎭✨

Mermaids, chocolate moustaches, camping capers, big jumpers, way too much headwear, and a shambolic vampire - all in one crazy afternoon! 🧜‍♀️🍫⛺🧢🧛‍♂️

Yet it was bittersweet as it was Liam’s last show (again!) 😭 Farewell sweet prince! 👋👑

Have a flick through some of the pics snapped by Franki - which she took from the audience without a sniff of permission! Tut tut… 👀 📸

We’re doing it all again Unity Theatre on 17th October and 21st November!💥 A brand-new kids comedy show, every time! 🤡

Tickets are already on sale - link in bio! 🎟️👆

WE’RE MULTIMEDIA, BABY! 📺✨

MYSTERY GUEST REVEALED 🕵️‍♂️✨

After all the clues and suspense, it’s time to reveal this month’s Super Secret Mystery Guest…

It’s… regular cast member Liam Hale! 😱

Anticlimactic, we know. We’re just as disappointed as you are!

Turns out Liam got his New Zealand moving dates wrong. So after throwing him a genuinely heartfelt onstage farewell - and having him carried out of the theatre leg-first by a four year old - he’s back. He’s. Just. Back.

For one afternoon only on 19th September! (We’re actually delighted!)

Are you shocked? Sound off in comments👇

We promise you real mystery guests for 17th Oct & 21st Nov. Pinky swear!

RADIO BLAH BLAH! 🎙️📸

Lee and Alice returned to BBC Merseyside on Sunday and conducted themselves very professionally, as you can see from these pics! 😇👔

They had a lovely natter with Leanne Campbell Power about our grand return next Saturday 19th September at 2pm and the stuuupid season to come! 🗣️🎭

If you want to watch the full interview - radio is a visual medium nowadays, kids - you can scroll back or find it in our Reels! 📺✨

And while you’re here, why not follow The Seriously Stupid Show to keep up with all our latest shows and shenanigans at unity theatre! 📅🤪

06/09/2026

Seriously Stupid Radio 🎙️✨

We popped into BBC Merseyside to chat about our Seriously Stupid Show! 🤪

Alice and Lee loved talking to Leanne Campbell Power about family comedy, our exciting funding news and why we're so passionate about helping kids embrace their stupid, silly, brilliant talents. 🎤🤹

We even gave a peek into our 90-minute show - from kids scooting on their bums like dogs to launching full-on tennis ball attacks at us on stage! 🎾🐶
