By now some of you will have seen the new features, but for those that haven't:
Jokers! You now have 4 lifelines to help you win the quiz! There are 2 types of jokers; 'Free ride' - use these when you don't know the answer and quizmo will give you the points regardless! Neat!
'Points boost' - use these when you definitely know the answer and get DOUBLE the points! Awesome!
A few FAQs - No these cannot be used in the wager round 🤣
You get 2 of each, use them by pressing the Joker symbol of your app when you see it. You cannot combine jokers. If you use a points boost on a question where the points are reducing (like the music round for example) you will get double the points scored, so if you got 26 points, you would have them doubled to 52.
PROFILE PICTURES OMG!!
Yes you can now add a profile pic before you join the game! Simply press the 3 line menu in the top left hand corner of the app, select profile and then upload a profile pic! When you get a speed bonus your pic appears! How cool is that??
NEW QUIZ GAMES.
There are 2 new games entering the quiz, duel and time trial. Duel is a PVP fastest finger shoot out game where the slowest to buzz loses. You will be selected at random to face another player in the quiz.
Time trial is a counting game, stop your buzzer as close to 20 seconds as possible, but don't go over! You get a point for every second you wait but the closest gets 20 bonus points! So for example if you stopped after 18 seconds you get 18 points, but of you are the closest to 20 without going over you would get an ADDITIONAL 20 points.
BIRTHDAY BASH is no more. Instead there are 3 nearest to the pin questions. Only one team can score points now and it's 100 points!
