Can’t wait to see Batala Mersey in action at Liverpool WaVeS festival this weekend !!!

Liverpool WaVeS International Music & Marching Band Festival brings together youth and community music groups from around the world to play in the heart of Liverpool! We’re delighted to say we’ll be back again this year!

The festival features marching bands, orchestras, choirs, dance groups, jazz and show bands, creating a vibrant multicultural celebration of music and performance.

We had an amazing time performing last year and can’t wait to be back 🥁

Catch us at Williamson Square at 13:45 as we march through the streets of Liverpool towards L1, filling the city with the energy and rhythms of samba reggae!

We look forward to welcoming Kitami Fuji High School Wind Ensemble from Kitami City, Hokkaido, Japan to the festival.

Fuji Brass will be performing on all 3 days of the festival including a schools concert at St Georges Hall

The Beat Goes On is an international award-winning all-adult marching band based in Portland, Oregon, USA. Founded in October 2011, the band is committed to delighting Northwest, National, and International audiences while reliving the best parts of the marching band experiences and creating indelible memories. Previous appearances include major events throughout North America and on three other continents.
