Boss Birds Improv are a group of women comedy improvisers. Founded to raise female voices and visibility in improvised comedy. To celebrate, support and cheer on the plethora of funny women improvisers locally, nationally and now .... across the world!
Co-founded in 2020 by Emma Bird, from Liverpool Comedy Improv, with some very funny and talented women in Liverpool UK.
Current cast members are: Andri Panayi and Ange Langley from Broken Chair Improv (Liverpool); Becky Webb from Casino Improv (Wigan); Kathryn Cooke; and Emma Bird from Liverpool Comedy Improv.
First gig was Periscope Up! at the Hope Street Theatre, Liverpool, March 2020, just before lockdown happened!
Since then we’ve gone online to rehearse. The huge advantage of being online is that we can now work and collaborate with women improvisers from across the world!
Keep your eye on the BossBirds page and also Liverpool Comedy Improv’s YouTube channel for forthcoming online collaborations with women improvisers across the world!
