The other day, we welcomed wonderful singer-songwriter to record a single! With .watts2004 engineering, it was a super-productive session, and you can look forward to hearing Immie's music soon.

April is turning out to be super busy for our engineers with session after session this week. Meanwhile, over at the workshops, Wednesday T Cat and her faithful human Ian are making serious progress on our sixties Ludwig kit. This episode covers a lot of ground!

We started last night's vocal overdubs with a mic shoot out, settling on a beautiful condenser with those Neumann influences. We love how cleanly we can capture vocals at Studio 5. It's a lovely sounding room!

Also, with the right camera angles, Nad from .band looks a lot taller than her song suggests.

The calicomoon.band were working on some new material with us the other night.

All three guitars in the image had just returned from being setup at fretworks.liverpool. Each one plays beautifully!

The bass guitar is a real transformation with setting relief, nut slots filed, and adjustments to action, intonation and pickup heights!
