Our new plan was, to charge the car up in Lidl GB and pop over to Rosie Lees Kitchen for 'Those Scones'
We gpt to in Garston to find the EV charger was out of order ....still . Very poor.
So it was off to for some scones , i dont know if it was my fault for asking but the shelf is now filled with them ππ
As many know this place is not a good place to go , just for scones.Yes we decided to have something to eat there π€£
I ordered a sausage,bacon and egg on toast , Kathie a tuna, cheese and beans jacket potato. Oh and we added a plain and fruit scone on top .
The toast was really nice , Kathies jacket was boss π€£as always great food , great price , always hot and really friendly service πβ€οΈ
Now the important part ...those scones i craved.
My explanation in the shop was a crap one , sounded like a moan , far from it .
I thought at first the plain one was a bit dry ,until the taste hit, a sweet taste but dont know what it was , then it hit me , it wasnt dry , it crumbled like a softer shortbread , really tasty. The fruit one was lovely and tasty ...... i believe you havent made scones before? If not , great first ones .
I took 4 home , daughter has had the plain one , she said it was like a shortbread , very nice so ...Evie approval right there β€οΈ
