🎉❤️ Still smiling after such a wonderful celebration! ❤️🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came to celebrate DainaArt Studio’s 1st Birthday with us! 🎂🎨

It was so special to see the studio filled with children, families, students, friends and members of our wonderful community. Thank you for all the beautiful cards, flowers, gifts, kind words and good wishes – you made the day truly unforgettable. 🥰

I felt incredibly proud to display the amazing artwork created by our children and adult students, as well as our special book illustration project for “Pete: The Caterpillar Who Didn’t Want to Grow Up” by Suzanne Solomons. 📖🐛

A very special thank you to Alison Griffiths MP for joining our celebration and taking such a genuine interest in the studio and our creative community. ❤️

We even had our wonderful young DJ bringing music and extra energy to the party! 🎶🥳 And my Art Studio of the Year 2026/27 award arrived just in time, making the celebration even more special. 🏆

DainaArt Studio would not be what it is without all of you. Thank you for supporting my little studio, believing in what I do and sharing this creative journey with me.

Here’s to many more years of art, creativity, friendship and wonderfully perfect imperfection! ❤️🎨✨

🐾🎨 It’s Animal Day in Littlehampton TODAY! 🎨🐾

And here at DainaArt Studio we’ll be joining the fun with FREE animal-themed art activities from 11am–3pm! 🥰

🐝 Our final Summer High Street Event of the year is tomorrow and it's a wild one!

Join us this Wednesday for our Animals-themed day on Littlehampton High Street. Catch the Bee Show, be amazed by a 4 meter animatronic T-Rex puppet, meet local animal charity stalls, get hands-on with clay animals and enjoy craft activities and storytime.

All FREE, all ages welcome!

🎨✈️ The paintbrushes are having a holiday too! 😄

DainaArt Studio will be closed until 16th August while I recharge my creative batteries. 🌊☀️

We’ll be back from 17th August, ready for lots of colourful adventures together!

I recently called in to see how things are going at DainaArt studio, a lovely independent art studio in The Arcade, which I had the pleasure of opening when I was Deputy Mayor.

I was genuinely impressed. Particularly by the clay models the children had been making. Daina has created a really warm and welcoming space. The Arcade has some truly lovely independent shops and I would encourage everyone to pay it a visit.
