Most of our guests know who Sandy Castle is! 🏰✨
Sandy Castle is our beloved mascot, a magical sandcastle who can talk, walk and greet guests around the park. This much-loved character has been bringing joy to generations of families (just ask your grandparents). 😁

I while ago I was asked to read these charming books by local author Wenny Smart, I have to point out again I am not at all a literacy buff, to which, I am sure anyone with an education around the written word can attest!
That being said, as I am a father to two young children, I can certainly recommend these books, with clear colourful illustrations and easy, flowing wording these books have helped bring my little ones back to the beach through imagination of an evening.
Be it the adventures with Roman and Rosie who meet a (somewhat famous) magic friend on the beach and learn about how we can help the local wildlife in a fun and colourful way, or through the eyes of Rosa and Zara who learn about the value of family after finding a mysterious shell I am certain your littles two will enjoy the journey!
Both of these books are available from the well stocked book shop Arcade Bookshop or the Harbour Park shop, we are lucky to have both these books as they will both serve as a beautiful reminder of the fun times we enjoyed as a family throughout the summer of 2026.
It has been an absolute joy to read these books, for both me and my sons, I hope you all enjoy reading them to your children also!
