Liskeard Storytelling Cafe

Liskeard Storytelling Cafe A spoken word club. Come and listen or share a story, poem or monologue every fourth Thursday in the month. Liskeard Public Hall, 3-5 West Street, PL14 6BW.

We also meet online and run story walks. A not-for-profit storytelling club, founded by Liz Berg in 2012 at the Liskerrett centre. Liz retired in early 2015 and a committee of friends took on the organisation. We changed our name to Liskeard Storytelling Cafe in March 2015. In April 2017 we move to Liskeard Public Hall, having outgrown the Liskerrett centre. The emphasis is on family-friendly oral

storytelling, but any oral contribution is warmly welcomed, including anecdotes, poetry, monologues. Listeners are just as welcome as tellers. About every three months we have a guest performer.

Hello Friends, time for a gentle (free)walk and talk.

We start from Coby’s Coffee Shop at Fletchersbridge, Bodmin, PL30 4AT, Tuesday 14 Apr at 2 pm

Make your way to the Bodmin Crematorium roundabout, and from it head north as if for Cardinham woods. However, after that road makes its infamous 90 degree right turn, don’t turn left for Cardinham Woods. Instead, keep going ahead for half a mile and the cafe is on the right. I hope to see you there.
